About this Blog

I created this blog with a very simple purpose – to share who I am with the world. My name is Tim Stiffler-Dean, and I am a writer, philosopher, developer, singer, actor and speaker. For a guy my age, I do quite a bit to build my career so that I can live as satisfying a life as possible. That’s all that I’m going to say about myself here, though, because I want you to read about me in the other posts that I’ve written in the actual blog part of this website.

The rest of this page is about how to use this website and enhance your experience here.

With that said, I am trying something a little bit different with this blog (an experiment, if you will). I don’t want you to read this like you do other websites. Too often I feel like we go to blogs and start at the latest article, which is the very last thing that someone has learned and posted about. But what about all of the past articles that are so important to explain their development as a writer or business person or whatever path it is they might be travelling?

We skip those because many times we’re too impatient to go back on that journey with them.

So I’m asking you to start back at the beginning of this blog, rather than jumping to the latest article. Because I want you to see where I am growing and what I have done to get to the places that I am today. I guess what I’m saying is, read this blog like you would read a book (only with more freedom to have discussions on the posts that interest you the most).

It’s just an experiment that I’d like to try. It may or may not work out. Some people may never read this page and will skip right on to reading the latest post – that’s all perfectly fine (I’m so glad they’re reading my posts, no matter which ones they are!). I’m only mentioning this for your sake, to see if it might enhance your experience here.

At any rate, let me know what your thoughts are. I’d love to hear from you on just about anything (I love comments), and you can reach me via email at “notjust @ anotherguy . us” or on Twitter @anotherguy.

Now, let’s begin.
