So far the Palm community has been simply amazing. Your excitement and passion to see this project end up as a success has blown me away. I knew that the Palm Fanatics were gonna be strong when I saw them trollop over our ‘opponents’ in Latop Magazine’s Mobile March Madness, but never did I expect such an enthusiasm for projects that I was working on.
When David Baxter from WebOSRoundup contacted me this morning to ask if I would like to move my challenge to a ‘larger stage’, I was floored. Sure, you guys may know David (and his team) on Twitter as just another group of leaders in the community, people you talk to regularly and candidly about your beloved Palm products. But for me, when a company such as WebOSRoundup asks me to join them for this month, I suddenly get the sense that I’ve been accepted into your community, and for that I am honored.
Starting tomorrow, all of my posts for the Palm Pre Challenge will be moved over to the WebOSRoundup blog, and I will continue to share daily updates with you there. With their help, I’m hoping to reach more developers, review more unique apps and get to know an even larger part of the Palm community than I currently do.
Over on this blog I’ll keep writing, but in a more casual manner, and about topics outside of the experiment. Perhaps I will share some of my studies on mobile browsing standards or give my thoughts on the next generation of Intelligent Devices. Either way, I’m here to stay as well (meaning, I’ll be writing with the WebOSRoundup Team, but won’t be writing their exclusively).
Thanks again for your support guys. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Happy to have you! Can't wait to see how your challenge unfolds over the next 30 days.
congrats. That's awesome!
Congratulations, good to hear about your temp home.
